Some high street chains ‘sussed’ this out many years ago with teir website domain names. I know it was generally thought strange that B&Q first went on line over ten years ago with http://www.diy.co.uk rather than http://www.bandq.co.uk. Everyone questioned why but they obviously had really good advise for this strategy.
